Training Courses
Talent Management
Category: Talent Management
Course level: Advanced
In house
It is crucial when planning a business strategy to consider whether or not the required talent is available. For example, if markets are declining and others are opening up, are there the people in the organisation to make this shift and maintain its reputation for excellence? Is there the necessary strength in depth throughout the organisation?
This two-day workshop is designed to identify the talent in an organisation that can be developed to fulfil the business plans. It will also help with gap analysis, give the organisation information about its management talent and provide its managers with robust development plans.
Learning styles will include group work, case studies, presentations and individual assignments.
Objectives
By the end of this workshop, delegates will:
- have an understanding of their strengths and development needs and be able to focus on specific areas
- see how these fit into the business strategy of the organisation
- have a clear and strategic personal development plan
Length
2 daysCourse Content
This will be developed in discussion with each organisation to reflect its particular business issues and the management and leadership challenges it faces. Assessors from the organisation will be trained by MSConsultants to observe delegates in a variety of exercises and situations.
A typical Talent Management course would consist of:
psychometric profiles of delegates (e.g., Myers Briggs profile)
presentations on a relevant topic
individual and group work
interviews
case studies
Assessors will pool their views at the end of the Centre and reach a consensus about each delegate. This will form the basis of a Development Plan for each delegate.
This course would be suitable for:
- HR and training
